Full Job Description

We’re looking to add an editor to our team with some serious chops in both Adobe Premiere and After Effects. Do you love to bring fresh ideas to the table and push projects from good to great? Are you bursting with ideas and tired of basic, boring editing jobs? We want to talk to you!

Ideal candidates will take content and run with it with basic initial guidance. We’re looking for editors that are quick and efficient and thrive on fast-turnarounds. They should also like collaborating with a small team from time to time and do equally well with direction when given. We want outside-the-box thinkers with a good sense of humor who aren’t afraid to get in Photoshop or After Effects and get their hands dirty (so to speak!) if the result is funny on-screen gags or simple animations.

Possible tasks include:
- Basic video editing
- Basic sound editing
- Creation of new assets and transitional elements in Photoshop or Illustrator
- Photo-manipulation for on-screen assets in Photoshop
- Simple After Effects or Premiere animations of assets from time to time
- Layered effects (possibly utilizing simple masks)
- Basic rotoscoping from time to time

A bit about us: we run a number of Disney content-based YouTube channels that each put out at least 4-5 videos a week. We’re looking to generate at least two videos around 10 minutes in length per week with ample opportunity for more work if things go well!

Candidate can be located anywhere as this is a work-from-home, 1099 Contractor position.

Video Editor/Producer Job Summary
A video editor/producer working directly under the manager. This job requires the use of digital software to organize video and sound files into a final product. Individuals in this position usually have experience working with creative software and have a keen eye for creative digital design. Especially for someone eager to be a vlogger or podcaster. This job also requires the individual to deeply understand the products and services. The individual must be able to be a KOL or KOC under the supporting and training plan, with the purpose of having a positive impact on the market and potential customers.

Responsibilities
1. Gather and transfer all forms of media into editing software and ensure each was updated in the correct format
2. Create an initial proposed storyboard draft of the video to present before beginning to digitally alter video
3. Improve video and sound quality using various video software
4. Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project
5. Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos
6. Appeal to potential consumers and make our brand more popular and attractive.

Qualifications/Skills
1. ONLY Mandarin

2. Willingness to make videos and be on camera as a presenter or commentator
3. Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs
4. Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
5. Creative experience in videography
6. Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions
7. Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects
8. Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation
9. Ability to collaborate well with other creative professionals to supply company with top-notch finalized products
10. At least 1 year video capturing and clipping experience, and 2 years working experience in the marketing field.

Salary and Benefits
1-month probation, salary will be discussed after probationary period. Will sponsor OPT/CPT. With good performance, we will sponsor H-1B.
